Aid for the development of commercial activities through the renewal of the public infrastructure necessary for industrial purposes.

The aim of the project is to increase the amount of private investments in the region by investing for commercial development, in accordance with the economic specialisation of the territories defined in the development programme of Rezekne City Council and based on the needs of merchants. Construction of a carriageway 7.00 m wide with 3.5 m wide lanes, bicycle path (662.60 m) and footpath (513.85 m and 665.35 m) at the section of the street. On the left side of the street, all along the street side footpath together with a bicycle path in width of 3.10 m, on the right side footpath in width of 2.00 m. The width of the pavement together with the cycle path is planned to be 3.10 m, creating a maximum of one width of pedestrian movement corridor. The pavement will form a variable width so as not to cross the boundaries of adjacent private property and to standardise the bus stop platform, as well as to keep existing trees and other greenery as much as possible. Within the framework of the project it is planned to reconstruct complex engineering communications.The project’s planned activities will result in 4 merchants, 25 new jobs created and additional non-financial investments attracted in the amount of EUR 1289553.00.The duration of the project is 15 months.The total cost of the project is EUR 1311599.33, incl. EUR 1 225839.24 eligible costs, which are financed by the following financial sources:ERAF EUR 1041963.35, which is 85 % of the total budget; State budget grant EUR 45968.97 (3.75 %); Local Government funding EUR 137906.92 (11.25 %).
