The aim of the project shall be: Inform and encourage the public (including awarding prizes) to launch innovative entrepreneurship, to inform the public about innovation developments and their potential, thus encouraging society and entrepreneurs to focus on the development and use of innovative solutions, as well as to increase the share of innovative entrepreneurs in the economy and to stimulate business start-ups within the specialisation priorities or areas defined in the Latvian Smart Specialisation Strategy. From 01.10.2016 to 30.09.2023.The total costs of the project: EUR 5303932, including the amount of support from the European Regional Development Fund – EUR 4508342, state budget funding – EUR 795590. Within the framework of the project until 30.09.2023, the result indicators will be achieved:•Number of persons receiving non-financial support – 10 000;•Number of operators receiving non-financial support – 100;•innovative merchant share – 40 %.
