The aim of the project is to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Latvian State Forest Science Institute “Silava” (hereinafter – LVMI Silava) and to concentrate research resources by improving the efficiency of management and resource management and modernising research infrastructure, thus promoting the involvement of LVMI “Silava” in the European Union-level infrastructures and using the research infrastructure at its disposal to solve practical economic problems.
