The project involves the upgrading of existing street lighting lanterns in a number of arterial and distributor roads in Malta together with the installation of a light management system. The project shall be making use of energy efficient measures aimed at reducing the carbon footprint produced by the generation of electricity for street lighting, as well as to contribute towards the reducation of primary and end energy consumption. Greenhouse Gas Emissions shall see an annual reducion of c. 644.56 tonnes through the implementation of the project and decrease of 1,584,667KWh annual primary energy consumption.
