The operation aims to increase the coverage of the sanitation network and the construction of a sewage treatment plant in the tyli parish, eliminating several existing septic tanks. The implementation of the operation will ensure the proper treatment of effluents, the reduction of urban pollution in the body of water of the River Tâmega and contributing to the fulfilment of national commitments with regard to national and Community legislation.
