Implementation of door-to-door and innovative systems to promote selective collection in Oliveira do Freguesia

The Council intends to promote behavioural change through the innovative PAYT system, with greater fairness in the amount paid and citizens to be rewarded for their more sustainable attitude in separating waste. This pilot project also aims to increase the amounts of RU to be forwarded for recycling and organic recovery, thus contributing to the targets imposed by PERSU 2020 and assumed in ERSUC’s PAPERSU.
