The project that will be implemented, under the responsibility of the Municipal Public Benefit Corporation of Metsovo Municipality and aims to continue the operation of the Centre for the Early Care of the Elderly (K.I.F.I) of Metsovo Municipality of the Municipality of Metsovo Public Benefit Company for a total of three years. The aim of the Centre for the Day Care of Older Metsovo is to improve the quality of life of the elderly and people with disabilities and their stay in their natural and family environment as well as to maintain a normal social and working life of the family and relatives who deal with the care of these people.The Centre for the Day Care of the Elderly (KITH) Metsovo capacity of 30 beneficiaries, employs a nurse, an individual assistant and a social worker. In addition, the recruitment of a person in the specialty “professional care officer or social carer or a graduate of Public Education (PI) or Institute of Vocational Training (IEK) or compulsory education” is required. Also, the project will finance 3 external partners, a pathologist, a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist. The project will also finance the operating costs of the KIFE up to 30 % of the staff’s payroll.
