The project action ECON II aims to improve the energy efficiency of the country’s homes by contributing to primary energy savings, in order to achieve the relevant national target, in accordance with the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan. Moreover, the planning of the Action ensures its social character by setting specific criteria concerning, inter alia, the income situation of the owners.The eligible interventions concern, inter alia, thermal insulation, replacement of frames, shading systems, upgrade of heating systems, etc.A specific energy objective is set, which must be achieved through these interventions. The meeting of the energy target is ensured by conducting energy inspections of the buildings by an Energy Inspector both before and after the implementation of the interventions.
