The project concerns the implementation of an integrated smart city platform, through which data and services will be provided to citizens, visitors, businesses and executives of the Municipality of Ioannites for areas such as: Waste collection. Environmental data. Parking positions. Public lighting. Electricity consumption in public buildings. City planning data. Tourism projection.The main objective is the platform to provide an operating control centre with dashboards, where the overall picture of the project’s functions will be displayed in a comprehensible and comprehensible manner on the same screen, in order to minimise the operational complexity between the Municipality’s services and assist the communication of the decision-making. The Platform will exploit the advantages of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies by interconnected citizens, processes, data and objects in order to monitor all factors that affect city life.
