The project will be built at the Central Port of Kavala, in the area of the pier, from its contact with the slopes of “Panagia” to its shore (which is also the berth of cruise ships), in a zone that needs to be upgraded as well. The aim is, with the improvement of the land and port facilities of the area, the modernisation of the Central Port of Kavala. Upon completion of the project, the reference zone will acquire the necessary infrastructure, will be aesthetically upgraded and will continue to be a safe and popular destination for both visitors and residents of the city. The physical object of the project concerns: A) corrective interventions on the road surface and linings of the platform of the pier; b) equipment of the platform with modern buffers; c) improvement of the road network of the land zone of the port; d) electromechanical support for the dock with lighting, electricity, fire and water supply networks of incoming ships.
