This project concerns the energy upgrading of the Annex for the chronic diseases of Drama from Energy Efficiency Class Z to B. It is the building of the Center for Social Welfare of the Region of Athens, located in the Municipality of Drama on 1 Diogenous Street and serves the needs of the “Chronic Diseases Therapy of Drama”. The total area (structuring) of the building in which the works will be carried out is 2194.50 m² and the useful surface (heated) is 2,123,2 m².The social role of the Drama Chronic Diseases Therapy, especially the difficult period of economic crisis that we are going through, makes it necessary to upgrade its building. The proposed project will contribute to:  1. the improvement of the social welfare services of N. Dramas. 2. To protect the environment a. by reducing the annual primary energy consumption by “1,094,721,92 kilowatt hours” b. with the annual reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to “297,93 tonnes of CO2 equivalent” and 3. To save resources by reducing the operating costs of the Annex of Drama (on Diogenous Street) by EUR 50,000 per year.
