The operation concerns the construction of the road section of Karamanlis Avenue (Old National Road of Athens Thessaloniki) from the level junction (I/K) with Volos Road (X.Th. 7+ 115) to the level junction (I/K) with Agia Street (C.T. 8+ 110), with the simultaneous construction of three (3) circular nodes, as well as the corresponding adjacent network.The total length of the artery’s end is at the same time. The artery has two lanes of traffic along its entire length, 3.25 m wide each. The directions are separated in the section from I/K Volos to I/K Eretria with a central green islet 2.60 m wide, while in the section from I/K Eretria to I/K Agias the central islet is replaced by a two-sided metal safety parapet. The physical object of this contract also includes:(a) Improving reconstruction of the level junction of Karamanlis Avenue with Volos Street, with the formation of a roundabout and the abolition of the existing signpost. The renovation of Volos Road from its confluence with L.Karamanlis to the lines of OSE, with the construction of two lanes of road entrance to the city of Larissa and the formation of two lanes of approach to the circular square. The construction of a level roundabout at the intersection of Karamanlis Avenue with Eretria Street (X.Th. 7+ 609).(d) The construction, on either side of the road, from Volos to I.K. Eretria, side streets of one direction. The construction of pedestrians from 1.50-2.00 m in the whole project.(f) Improvement of the existing adjacent network, from I.K Eretria to the I.K.A., the construction of a mild traffic road to restore access to adjacent properties, the connection of the adjacent roads with the artery. 6+ 850).
