The project concerns the development by the Municipality of Agrinio of an automated electronic system that will give citizens the opportunity to receive and use an electric bike for as long as they wish, returning it to one of the installed parking points. It will also include bicycles that can serve citizens with mobility difficulties in order to provide equal access for all. The bicycles will be placed in special constructions – rental and automatic charging stations (Docking Stations).In particular, as part of the project, the supply and installation in public areas of the city of Agrinio: – 81 electric bicycles. 2 bicycles for people with disabilities.- 9 charging stations, with shelters with autonomous photovoltaic installations.- 8 Wi-Fi systems and 5 Info-Kiosk systems to inform citizens, as well as software management of the whole system.
