The Rehabilitation Centre for Social Support and Creative Employment for Persons with Disabilities (The Savior) is a non-profit provider providing social services to people with disabilities. It has been certified as a provider of primary and secondary social care services to people with disabilities. It operates 2 Centers for Creative Employment for Children with Disabilities (CDA), 3 Day Care Day Care Centres (KDI), as well as 2 Roofs of Supported Living (SYD). In addition, it has been licensed as a Level 1 Lifelong Learning Center. Within the framework of this project, the KDIF ‘O Sotiri 1’, which is housed on K.Voga 45 Street in Thessaloniki, will provide, for 36 months, day care and stay services to 24 people with disabilities residing within the Region of Central Macedonia, 12 months a year, 5 days weekly (Monday – Friday) from 07:00-23:00. The beneficiaries of the project are people with disabilities (intellectual disabilities, sensory disabilities, multiple disabilities or with different types of disability). In particular, the services offered shall include: 1. Transfer of beneficiaries to and from the Centre by private means of transport of the operator. 2. Accommodation and nutrition of the beneficiaries. 3. Programs of support services and treatments of special education, based on the individualised program of each beneficiary. 4. Provision of individual and group exercise. 5. Programs for the acquisition of social skills, self-service and learning activities of everyday life. 6. Creative employment, pre-professional education and training programmes, as well as social inclusion and social inclusion activities. 7. Entertainment, culture and sports programs. 8. Summer holidays, camps and excursions.
