The project concerns the strengthening of the network of structures and services to deal with dependencies in the Region of Central Macedonia (ICM) and includes the following structures and services: 1. Day and Short Hospitality Center in the Municipality of Thessaloniki: It is aimed at dependents with a lack of stable housing, who constitute the most burdened group of the target population. The Day Center offers safe rest and hygienic and feeding services to homeless users, aiming to limit the damage and pre-integrate them in a therapeutic environment, with the ultimate aim of referring them to treatment programs. 2. Parental support and protection of dependents: It is an integral part of the services that are part of the reduction of the damage caused by the use of substances, with the aim of interfering with the intergenerational cycle of dependence and other dysfunctional behaviors, through the strengthening of parental identity and the strengthening of the mental resilience of children of dependent parents. 3. Early intervention in adolescents and youths with delinquent behavior Service for Social Intervention: The aim is the timely intervention of specialised workers in the arrest of minors and young people, in order to provide short psychological support for themselves and their families, to refer them to treatment and to prevent future delinquency. 4. Prevention Services Program: It concerns a coordinated effort that focuses on the timely implementation of meaningful and targeted measures for vulnerable groups of our fellow human beings, on providing accessible and scientifically documented interventions and on promoting healthy forms of entertainment and entertainment of people, away from abuses and addictions that encapsulate them. The programme will strengthen both the action of the Prevention Centres and, on the other hand, contribute to better addressing the served population and their needs across the region. 5. Social Reintegration Program Legal Support Services: It concerns the strengthening and enrichment of interventions aimed at removing social exclusion and the social integration of formerly dependent or rehabilitated individuals. The social reintegration phase is a key point in maintaining the therapeutic effect and preventing relapse, especially at a time when high rates of unemployment and underemployment hinder the occupational and social integration of the rehabilitated and create conditions of revolving door to services. The programme forms an integral part of the services aimed at social inclusion and ensuring social cohesion, with the ultimate aim of combating all forms of discrimination and promoting the access of marginalised population groups to social care services.
