The project concerns the development of a network of structures and services to deal with dependencies in the Region of Western Greece and includes:- Centre of Day (KH) Short Hospitality Services: It is addressed to dependents with a lack of stable housing. KH will offer safe rest area, hygiene and feeding services to homeless users in order to limit the damage and pre-integrate them in a therapeutic environment, with the ultimate aim of referring them to treatment programs. KH will have a building that will be rented by the Organisation against Drugs (OKANA) in Patras.- Establishment and operation of a Multipurpose Centre (OKA): It aims to provide primary support and short-term intervention services to dependents according to their needs and to refer to more specialised structures.The BK will be based on the 2nd floor building at Dimitseli and Floras Karapapa 3 in Agrinio. For groups and scientific actions Odysseus will be used on the 1st floor of the same building.- Mobile Unit: It is intended for people who use addictive substances or experience other addictive behaviors and live in areas outside urban tissue or in areas with a lack of anti-dependent services. The KM will operate through leasing of a car by OKANA.- Parental support and protection of dependants: It is an integral part of the services of reducing the harm caused by the use of substances, with the aim of interfering with the intergenerational cycle of dependence and other dysfunctional behaviors, through the strengthening of parental identity and the enhancement of mental resilience of children of dependent parents. The structure will be based on existing structures of OKANA in Patras.- Prevention Services Program: It focuses on timely implementation of meaningful and targeted measures for vulnerable groups, providing accessible and scientifically documented interventions and promoting healthy forms of entertainment. The actions will respond to the specific psychosocial needs of the individual population – target, the capture of which will be achieved through the collaboration of OKANA and the National Documentation and Information Centre on Drugs (ECPTEN). Social Integration Program Legal Support Services. It concerns the strengthening and enrichment of interventions aimed at removing social exclusion and social integration of former addicts, or under rehab. It forms an integral part of social inclusion and social cohesion services aimed at combating discrimination and promoting the access of marginalised population groups to social care services and increasing the effectiveness of interventions. The structure will be developed into a building that will be rented by OKANA in Rio and will be at a reasonable distance from the existing or newly established structures of OKANA.
