The project concerns the expansion, repair and modernisation of the Archaeological Museum of Argos, the core of which is Kallergio, a listed building in the center of the city and an emblematic landmark of the 19th century. The Museum’s collections include some of the most important findings of prehistoric Argolida, which will be exhibited again after the completion of the construction works. The new, improved building will now have all the necessary spaces for its operation as a modern museum, so that it can be re-opened to the residents of Argos and visitors to the city.
