As part of the effort to upgrade the quality of life in the Municipality of K.Nevrokopi, the construction of a new building will create a modern educational environment, in order to meet the needs of pupils of the Primary Schools of Kato Nevrokopi, Margarion, K. Vrontos and Vathytopos, which will be relocated. The study of this building is based on the principles of Bioclimatic Architecture, aiming at saving resources and energy with both environmental and economic benefits. Photovoltaic power generation systems will be installed on the roof of the building. In the new elementary school there will be: 12 classrooms, computer room and science laboratory, multipurpose room, language and aesthetic education rooms, library, kitchen, dining room, teachers’ offices and parents’ and guardians’ associations, cafeteria, sanitary areas.
