The project aims to strengthen the Fire Brigade of Thessaly with new modern equipment (aquifers fire trucks). These are equipment suitable for the prevention and suppression of forest and other fires. The significant qualitative and quantitative upgrading of existing firefighting equipment will support decisively the intended improvement of the services provided by the Fire Corps within the Region of Thessaly.  In any case, the improvement of the effectiveness of fire interventions and the strengthening of measures to reduce and/or prevent major natural and technological disasters depends on the adequacy of appropriate, modern and reliable means of intervention that are operationally available for the needs of the Region.
