The general objective of the project is to promote sustainable urban mobility by creating a public transport system in the municipalities of county residence (Mun. Brasov, Mun. Iasi, Mun. Sibiu, Mun. Slatina, Mun. Suceava) efficient, environmentally friendly and modern, leading to the reduction of CO2 and pollutant emissions discharged into the atmosphere, reducing the number of cars in traffic, increasing the number of people using public transport with an impact on road traffic fluidisation, This objective implies reducing carbon emissions and increasing the attractiveness of public transport, by ensuring superior conditions (modern, low floor, 100 % electric vehicles with zero emissions, faster, less noisy, with ITS – intelligent technical systems), namely by offering transport alternatives, discouraging travel by private car and increasing the number of people who will use public transport.
