The general objective of the project is to modernise the educational unit “Petru Maior” technical college in order to increase the quality of the educational act and the degree of participation in compulsory education. The general objective of the project contributes to the achievement of the specific objective 10.2 of Axis 10 by modernising the educational unit both in terms of improving the operating conditions of the institution, as well as in terms of equipping it with new and modern educational equipment and materials for the training of students so that the framework for increasing the quality of the educational act and the degree of participation in compulsory education will be provided. The general objective of the project also contributes to the achievement of the general objective of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, namely to increase economic competitiveness and improve the living conditions of local and regional communities by supporting the development of the business environment, infrastructure conditions and services, ensuring a sustainable development of the regions, capable of managing resources efficiently, exploiting their potential for innovation and assimilation of technological progress. This project aims to help solve one of the most acute problems faced by education at national level, namely inadequate conditions as well as inadequate endowment of education units.
