Thermal Rehabilitation of the Public Directorate for Persons and Civil Status Headquarters Sector 2 Bucharest, Olari Street no. 19

The general objective of the project is to increase the energy efficiency of the headquarters of the Public Directorate for Persons and Civil Status of Sector 2 – CORP C1 through thermal rehabilitation of the building. Through its specific objectives, increasing energy efficiency through thermal rehabilitation of the C1 building, reducing annual CO2 equivalent emissions and decreasing the specific annual primary energy consumption, the proposed project aims to contribute to the achievement of the specific objectives of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, which aims to finance investments in increasing the energy efficiency of public buildings owned and occupied by both local authorities and central authorities, residential buildings, public lighting systems, as well as investments aimed at reducing CO2 emissions in the urban environment, based on sustainable urban mobility plans. The proposed project is in line with the “Energy Efficiency Improvement Programme – PEEE of Sector 2 of Bucharest, for the period 2017-2023”, a key document containing the measures to be applied for energy efficiency and CO2 emissions reduction throughout the territory concerned, aiming at increasing the energy efficiency of public buildings, through rational use of energy and possibly the production of the necessary energy from renewable sources. The proposed project responds directly to the objectives set out in the Programme, the project activities respecting the recommended measures within this Program. From the point of view of prioritisation, along with other projects for the efficiency of public buildings, this project represents a short-term priority project (3-6 years). The project is complementary to other projects realised and implemented by UAT Sector 2 Bucharest in the field of energy efficiency
