The general objective of the project “The urban socio-cultural regeneration of Teius” is to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Teius, as well as those of the component localities, by addressing the needs identified locally. Thus, the project aims to improve cultural-recreative services by building a museum for cultural and educational development of the city and building a youth center (with swimming pool and halls with various functions: recreation hall, gym, multisport field, bowling room, projection room and multimedia/drawing room) in order to offer an alternative to young people from Teius and other residents for leisure in a pleasant way. Moreover, the project aims to improve the quality and aspect of urban public infrastructure through rehabilitation activities and modernisation of a section related to an urban street (rigoles, sidewalks and parks related to the museum objective). All these activities contribute to the achievement of objective 13.1 of the investment priority through the objectives that are intended to be achieved within the project and which aim to increase the quality of life of the inhabitants of Teius.
