REHABILITATION AND CONVERSION OF EXISTING BUILDING IN KINDERGARTEN

General objective: Conversion and modernisation of existing buildings in the city of Stei, in order to ensure the contribution to a quality education, by modern means and in an appropriate environment. In the city of Stei the educational infrastructure specific to the kindergarten activity is insufficient, because according to the rules in force the surfaces do not correspond with the number of existing children enrolled in the preschool education program. The spaces of the existing educational units are insufficient because the number of children in need of preschool education exceeds the capacity of the existing infrastructure. For this project there is no prefeasibility study, but one can mention the proposal contained in the Stei local development strategy in the medium and long term. The realisation of the project will increase the efficiency of the preschool education system within the city of Stei. Education is the process (action) through which the training and development of the human personality is realised. It is a necessity for the individual and for society. As a result, it is a specific human activity, carried out in the context of the social existence of man and, at the same time, it is a specific social phenomenon, an attribute of society, a condition of its perpetuation and progress. So, at the same time, she refers to society and to the individual. Early education, as the first stage of preparation for formal education, ensures the child’s entry into the compulsory education system (around the age of 4), by forming the ability to learn. In Romania, as a rule, there is talk about early education when the child enters the kindergarten, an institution that ensures the environment that guarantees the safety and health of children and which, taking into account the psychological characteristics of the child’s development, involves both the family and the community in the learning process. Kindergarten programs are a necessity, this being confirmed by psychologists who draw attention to the importance of the time spent by the child in the community and recommend their parents to join joint education programs to the detriment of the activities carried out individually, with grandparents/bones. Kindergarten not only facilitates the preschool preparation of children, but also helps to balance the ratio between children’s main activities, thus balancing the balance in the life of the little ones, a balance made up of activities-rest-playing. Among the benefits of the program organised by children in kindergarten are the following advantages: • Public access to educational infrastructure; • Increasing the chances of promoting and asserting young talents; • Improving the living conditions of the city’s inhabitants; • Guides the skills acquired by the child during the preschool program towards the acceptance of a discipline by observing the program of activities; • Strengthens high school success
