Overview Overall objective: Rehabilitation, upgrading the infrastructure and equipping the outpatient hospital with efficient medical equipment in order to increase the quality of medical services and the accessibility of the population served to the standards imposed by European norms. Description General objective: This project ensures the improvement of the quality and accessibility of health services and targets the outpatients of a local hospital, i.e. the city hospital (criterion 9.c. ETF grid). It is an investment such as rehabilitation, modernisation, extension (with body for elevator and stairwell) and endowment of the outpatient infrastructure of Stei City Hospital, which will contribute to increased access to preventive services and first-line therapy for over 29,000 inhabitants belonging to this sanitary unit. This population, in the poor and aging majority, with poor health, cannot afford to travel to Oradea, these journeys being expensive considering on the one hand the distance of 81 km and also the accommodation and food costs for the relatives. Modernising and equipping a large number of specialty cabinets makes this hospital a reference point in medical interventions. The ambulatory targeted by the project is the only public provider of non-hospital medical services in the village of Ștei but also in the surroundings (crt. 8.a. gr. ETF) The ambulatory did not receive funding under the ROP 2007-2013 (crt. 11.c. ETF) The ambulatory does not belong to a specialised hospital, but it has offices on the specialties: psychiatry psychology. 10.a gr. ETF)
