Thermal rehabilitation of housing blocks from Ramnicu Valcea: Bl.3, Bl.64, Bl. Philippine, the Bl. D3, Bl. D4

The general objective of the project was established in accordance with the objectives of the Regional Operational Programme, Priority Axis 3 – Supporting the transition towards a low carbon economy, Investment Priority 3.1, Operation A-Residential Buildings. The project subscribes to the ROP objective of increasing economic competitiveness and improving the living conditions of local and regional communities, by supporting the development of the business environment, infrastructure and services, for the sustainable development of the regions, so that they can efficiently manage their resources and capitalise on their potential for innovation and assimilation of technological progress. The general objective of the project is to contribute to the creation and maintenance of jobs with an effect on countering the economic downturn by boosting the construction industry, as well as the related industries extremely affected by the economic crisis and promoting social cohesion, by supporting the improvement of the energy efficiency of the housing blocks in Romania, in line with the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy, which will lead to an increase/maintenance of the employment rate, low energy consumption and limiting greenhouse gas emissions.
