Rehabilitation of public lighting in Rm. Vâlcea, including the creation of a new underground sewerage related to electrical and telecommunications networks

The general objective of the project was set in line with the ROP 2014-2020 objectives of Priority Axis 3 "Supporting the transition towards a low carbon economy" Investment Priority 3.1 "Supporting energy efficiency, smart energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructures, including in public buildings, and in the housing sector, Operation C- public lighting. The project subscribes to the general objective of ROP 2014-2020 to increase economic competitiveness and improve the living conditions of local and regional communities by supporting the development of the business environment, infrastructure conditions and services, ensuring a sustainable development of the regions, capable of efficiently managing resources, capitalising on their potential for innovation and assimilation of technological progress. General objective: Energy efficiency in the lighting system in the municipality of Ramnicu Vâlcea, leading to reduced energy consumption and greenhouse emissions. The project aims to create an outdoor lighting system, both for the roadside and for the sidewalk, ensuring the bright comfort of all participants in the trafic:conducători car, pedestrians, cyclists. This can be achieved primarily by the use of high-performance road lighting luminaires characterised by optimal luminous intensity distribution and efficient use of electricity.
