Modernisation of the county road (675 C), originated in DN 67B, which crosses Targu Logresti, Popesti, Bustuchin, Poiana Seciuri, Seciuri, Rosia de Amaradia, Becheni, Corsoru, Alimpesti, Serbi, Ciupercenii de Olteț, until DJ 67

The general objective of the project is to “increase the accessibility of rural and indirect areas of urban areas close to the TEN-T network by modernising the County Road 675 C”. Investing in the modernisation of this transport infrastructure will contribute to: improving the level of access of the population in the areas along the county road route to health, social and educational services in the towns and municipalities of the area, which will increase the adaptability of the population to the needs of the regional/local labour market; — increasing the mobility of people and goods, reducing freight and passenger transport costs, improving access to regional markets, increasing the efficiency of economic activities, saving energy and time, creating conditions for expanding trade and thus productive investment; — highlighting and increasing the economic and social potential of the area adjacent to the county road, by attracting investors, currently discouraged by the viability of the county road; — increasing the safety of traffic; — reducing travel time both for persons transiting the area for tourism/business/personal purposes and for freight transport; — improving the quality of the environment. By modernising the county road sector, most of the following problems will be solved: the areas will no longer be considered as deficient in terms of volume and quality of transport due to the connection of the county road transport infrastructure to the TEN-T network; — better meeting the travel needs of citizens and goods; development of transport by ensuring connectivity through county roads of areas with economic potential, leading to improved trade and increased competitiveness at regional level; ensuring greater transport security, road safety for all road users and environmental protection; — it will ensure that students are transported in time and safely. The strategic route, DJ 675C, is continuous, ensuring indirect connectivity with the TEN-T network, as follows: origin in DN67B and finality in the municipality of Ciupercenii de Olteț DN 67 through which the link is made to the TEN-T Core network (Mălureni – Râmnicu Vâlcea – Câineni – on the Pitești – Sibiu branch) and A1 (TEN – T Core). DN 67 – Pitesti – Drobeta Tr. Severin is the main link between three county residence municipalities in the region: Târgu – Jiu, Ramnicu Vâlcea and Drobeta Turnu Severin and DN 67B connects two county residence municipalities in the region: Târgu – Jiu and Craiova from where you can connect to the TEN – T Comprehensive network represented by DN 6 (Craiova – Filiași – Shimian). DN 67 (Rm. Vâlcea – Horezu – Tg. Jiu) is important road artery
