Modernisation of DJ561 A, Motatei (intersection DN56) – Dobridor – Unirea – Plenita – Lim. I'm a judge. Mehedinti, section 2.

The general objective of the project is to increase the accessibility of a total community of 15 384 people from Dolj county to the TEN-T network, a community located in the rural area consisting of 3 communes crossed by the county road DJ561A – section 2. In this way, the modernisation of the county road DJ561A modenisation DJ561A, Motatei – (intersection DN 56) – Dobridor – Unirea – Plenita – Limita Jud. Mehedinti, km 41+ 741-72+ 237 stimulates mobility in the South-West Oltenia Region by increasing the accessibility of rural areas in Plenita, Unirea, Motatei communes, to the TEN-T road network, as well as to road and rail/naval-port, but also by increasing the accessibility of Mehedinti county, as DJ561A continues in the neighboring county. Moreover, the modernisation of DJ561A in Mehedinti, starting with UAT Oprisor, is included in the project "Rehabilitation and modernisation of county roads, Mehedinti County – DJ562A (Gruia (int.DN56C) – Rogova (int.DN56A)); DJ563 (int.DN56A – Oprisor (int.DJ561A)); DJ561A (Oprisor (int.DJ563) – Balacita (int. DJ606) – Gvardinita – Bicles – int. DJ606A (Plopi)); DJ606A (int.DJ561A – Plopi – Izvoralu (int. DJ561A)); DJ561A [int. DJ606A – Timna – int. DN6]; DJ607 (int. DN67A (Strehaia) – Grozesti – Pasarani – lim. jud. Gorj]', SMIS code 119202 under implementation under ROP 2014-2020, beneficiary of Mehededinti County ATU. In detail, the connection to the road TEN-T is ensured by direct connection with DN 56/E 79 Craiova – Calafat (through the crossroads in Motatei village) and DN56A respectively. DJ561A County Road, section 2 is proposed for modernisation starting with the limit of the area on which the intersection with DN56 Craiova Calafat is arranged, through the project “Rehabilitation DN56 Craiova – Calafat, km 0+ 000 – km 84+ 020” which was being implemented by CNAIR, in accordance with CNAIR opinion No 348/13.12.2017, attached. According to CNAIR letter No 32078/13.12.2017, the deadline for completing the intersection works is September-October 2018. The connection to the TEN-T road and rail network is provided by direct connection, respectively via DN 56/E 79 to Calafat Railway Station/Pod Calafat (the TEN-F core network: Craiova-Calafat-Vidin-Sofia). Connection to the TEN-T road and naval/port network via DN56/E 79 – Port Calafat/Pod Calafat, the Danube River (TEN-T core river network: River Danube and Port Calafat). The distance from the intersection point between DJ561A and DN56 to the port city at the Calafat Danube is about 21 km. In conclusion: • The population served by the county road DJ561A – section 2 is more than 15,000 people, according to the latest INS data (annexed), respectively 15,384 persons; • The length of the road DJ561A section 2 upgraded is more than 20 km and 30.550 km respectively (according to the projected situation); • The county road DJ561A section 2 provides connectivity to 3 TEN-T corridors: road (DN56 – direct and DN56A), road and ship/port (DN56-DN56A-Port Calafat); road and rail (D)
