Building 3 blocks with social housing in Pucioasa city and improving urban public spaces in the area

The general objective of the project is to improve the quality of life of the population in the City of Pucioasa. According to the specific guide, the specific objective 13.1 of the Investment Priority 9b is to improve the quality of life of the population in small and medium-sized cities in Romania. In order to achieve the specific objective of this investment priority, the following types of investment are envisaged: Under Specific Objective 13.1, the following activities, within which the proposed project falls, are supported: A. Improvement of social, educational, cultural and recreational services This category includes eligible activities related to the construction/extension/completion/modernisation/rehabilitation/equipment of the buildings where social, educational, cultural and recreational activities are or will be carried out, i.e.: ........ 3. Construction/extension/completion/modernisation/rehabilitation/equipment of social housing, including by changing the initial use of buildings; B. Improvement of urban public spaces In this category are supported the following eligible activities related to the construction/extension/modernisation/rehabilitation of urban public infrastructure, namely: 1. Construction/extension/modernisation/rehabilitation of public roads within the administrative boundaries of the city/municipal ATU, regardless of the functional category – national road, county road, urban street, communal road, vicinal road, over which the applicant has a real right and the consent of the road manager, if applicable, in accordance with the law, as well as of the tracks/pathways/for bicycles and/or pedestrians. In addition, all components of these public roads can be constructed/extended/upgraded/rehabilitated: roadway, bicycle tracks, pedestrian paths (tototuaries), bridges/passes, walkways, markings, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, tree alignments, technical channels for networks, etc. 2. Construction/extension/modernisation/rehabilitation of pedestrian areas, including by converting urban streets into pedestrian areas. 3. Construction/extension/modernisation/rehabilitation of parks, squares, public gardens, other areas with green spaces, including construction/extension/modernisation/rehabilitation of small sports and recreational facilities (sport grounds, children’s playgrounds, etc.), pergolas, alleys, etc., rehabilitation of public fora monuments (states); 4. Small sports and recreational facilities (e.g. sports grounds, children’s playgrounds, etc.), which are not located in parks; .............. 6. Extension/modernisation/rehabilitation of networks related to public utilities (only public lighting, water supply, domestic and rain sewerage) within the building of urban public spaces covered by the project or for serving areas with disadvantaged population and poorly served by the service
