The general objective of the project is to increase the accessibility of health services offered by the integrated Ambulatory of Pucioasa City Hospital. According to the Specific Guide, Specific Objective 8.1 of Priority Axis 8 “Development of health and social infrastructure”, Investment Priority 8.1 – Investing in health and social infrastructure contributing to development at national, regional and local level, reducing inequalities in health status and promoting social inclusion by improving access to social, cultural and recreational services, as well as moving from institutional to community-based services is “Increasing accessibility of health, community and secondary-level services, especially for poor and isolated areas”. The overall objective is set in line with the Investment Priority objective 8.1. This will strengthen the basis of the pyramid in order to be able to take over a proportion of medical caseuistics (small illnesses, etc.) or to ensure the necessary prevention, to improve health and increase the social inclusion of individuals. In particular, this segment of the health system (outpatient care) aims at increased access to preventive and primary care services for poor and low-access areas. This objective will be achieved both by correcting policies in the field (regulatory measures) and by financing infrastructure interventions and equipping the outpatient network, being a flexible solution to make primary socio-medical care accessible, especially for those categories of poor people in rural areas, people with poor access to health services. The aim is to reduce inequalities in the health status of the population, especially in rural areas, in remote or economically disadvantaged areas, by diagnosing diseases at an early stage and successfully treating lighter diseases, preventing their worsening and reducing the proportion of people with unmet medical needs. The means of achieving the general objective are clearly defined: The achievement of the general objective is a consequence of the achievement of the specific objectives.
