The general objective of the investment priority is to increase the accessibility of rural and urban areas located close to the TEN-T network by upgrading and rehabilitating the county roads DJ 402 and DJ 302 on the territory of Calarasi County. The project’s contribution to achieving the objectives of this investment priority is materialised by the investment contribution to increase population mobility, thus ensuring easier and faster access to health, social and educational services providers of the population in the area of the two county roads, which will increase the adaptability of the population to the needs of the regional/local labour market. The investment proposed by this project contributes to the development and modernisation of regional transport infrastructure, being prioritised by Decision No 1 of the South Muntenia Regional Development Committee. Also, the modernisation and rehabilitation of the two county roads will ensure the mobility of people and goods to a higher level, reduce freight and passenger transport costs, increase traffic safety, thus promoting easy access to regional and local markets.
