Green spaces in the town of Black Voda, Constanta county

The GENERAL objective of the project aims to improve and revitalise the urban environment in Negru Voda in order to create and maintain a general framework favorable to sustainable economic and social development. An urban environment modernised under the principles of an ergonomic dynamic of spatial planning makes the City to be comfortable and attractive both for its own citizens and for those who transit it. Moreover, an attractive and modern city that infrastructure becomes a point of interest for the business environment, which translates into the activation of urban space as an engine of economic development both within the city and in the adjacent territories. From this perspective, the project meets the general objective of the investment priority 5.2 of the Regional Operational Programme – Delivering actions aimed at improving the urban environment, revitalising cities, regenerating and decontaminating brownfields (including reconversion areas), reducing air pollution and promoting noise reduction measures. The proper implementation of the project activities under the requirements of the general objective and of the specific objectives formulated will lead to the end of the project implementation to achieve the following results summarised as follows: — 4 green spaces type squares properly arranged and equipped in Negru Voda City at high quality standards, with a total area of 15.441.26 sqm; — The Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020 and the investment in the design of the 4 squares green spaces become visible at community level (citizens, business environment, other entities, etc.) through information and publicity actions (2 press releases and location 2 informative panels). Achieving these objectives contributes mainly to improving the quality of life of the population of Negru-Voda, against the background of improving environmental conditions. At the same time, the regeneration of unused urban spaces at the stage of degradation that are the object of the project facilitates the increase of the city’s attractiveness to the population and economic agents, contributing to the improvement of the perception of the city and to the creation of an attractive socio-economic climate.
