“The functional extension of the integrated ambulatory of the Siret Chronic Disease Hospital by building a new building and equipping it in order to increase the accessibility to medical care services of the population located in the area of service of the Siret Chronic Disease Hospital, especially the poor and those with reduced access to health services” According to the Atlas of Marginalised Urban Areas, 78.31 % of the population of Siret is affected on at least one disadvantage criterion (housing, occupancy, human capital) and only 21.69 % of the population lives in unadvantaged areas. The general framework for the development and prioritisation of health policies for the period 2014-2020 is provided by the National Health Strategy 2014-2020, a strategic document developed by the Ministry of Health. The document identifies the development directions that Romania must follow, in order to ensure equitable access to quality health services, especially vulnerable groups. The project responds to O.S. 4.3. “Strengthening specialised outpatient services in order to increase the share of diseases solved in the specialised outpatient and reduce the burden through continuous hospitalisation” within the SNS. The implementation of the project will contribute to increasing the number of medical services provided to the population of Siret – locality located in the Atlas of marginalised urban areas and the localities in its vicinity – the communes of Gramesti, Zamostea, Balcauti, Calafindesti, Serbauti, Musenita, Granicesti, Zvoristea in Suceava county and the communes Mihaileni, Dersca, Candesti in Botosani county. The medical services provided by the Ambulatory of the Hospital of Chronic Diseases Siret are in accordance with the Contract for the provision of medical services in medical assistance for the specialty physical medicine and rehabilitation (for outpatient health units of physical medicine and rehabilitation) with no. S66004/27.04.2018, concluded with the Health Insurance House CAS Suceava, according to Government Decision no. 140/2018 approving the packages of medical services, the Framework Contract regulating the conditions of the granting of nurse, medicines and medical devices within the health insurance system for the years 2018-2019 and of the Order of the Minister of Application no. 397/2018 of the President of the Republic of Moldova and of the Order of the Minister of Romania no. 397/2018.
