The ultimate aim of the project is to improve access to healthcare in less attractive, rural and disadvantaged areas — Varaždin County, by increasing the number of medical specialists, i.e. by providing a new 7 doctor with a family medicine, 3 specialist gynaecologist and obstetrician medical specialist, with 3 paediatrics and 1 medical specialists specialist in clinical radiology. It also reduces the reference of patients to hospitals and ensures greater efficiency in the provision of health care services at primary level and continuity of care.
