In line with the tendencies of the European Union, the Croatian Employment Service has identified young people as a particular vulnerable group on the labour market and offered a range of activities and services, such as gaining professional experience at the workplace, education for young people, youth employment support, public youth work and support to self-employment for young people, targeting precisely this target group. These measures focus on the rapid reaction to youth unemployment, within 4 months of entry into unemployment, as laid down in the national plan to implement the YG with the support of the Youth Employment Initiative.
