The project includes investments in the system of public water supply, public drainage and wastewater treatment in the area of the Križevci agglomeration, with a view to meeting the requirements of the Water Framework Directive (2000/60/EC), the Directive on the quality of water intended for human consumption (98/83/EC), the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (91/271/EEC) and the Directive on the protection of groundwater from pollution (2006/118/EC). The total eligible costs are HRK 256.370.225,10, of which approximately 70.16 % and 179.871.104,61 HRK will be financed by EU grants and the remaining part of around 29.84 % and 76.499.120,49 HRK will be co-financed with national resources.
