The “Water utility infrastructure improvement of the Rijeka agglomeration” project includes the construction of:• the system of public drainage of 217.85 km total length of pipelines, 126 pumping stations, 12 retention basins, 20 drilling basins and 3 separators for the replacement of 99.53 km of supply pipelines. • UPOV with a capacity of 200.000 ES (purified waste water from the system of public drainage and septic tanks from septic tanks where the construction of the public drainage system is not profitable) Project was planned to connect around 34.182 new inhabitants to the public waste water sewerage system in 2023.
