A project for an exploratory share of a total length of 236.7 km from Račinovac to Nova Gradiška provides an urgent ‘but regression’ measure of increasing the safety of a dykes and is a roundabout by building coastal camps with poor drainage and service routes. Out of the 236.7 km of shares analysed, 41.3 % of the embankments have been identified without the required certainty from a stability point of view, whereas in 76.3 % of shares the existing service network is not adequate and constitutes a limitation on communication when implementing flood defences. The implementation of measures on sections 172.5 km long achieves a uniform level of safety from the scale of the dykes caused by the hydraulic collapse of the soil base and the direct approach to the embankment in order to implement flood defence measures and to maintain the maintenance of dykes.
