Works on railway lines 220 and 221 on the Olsztyn – Gutkowo – Dobre Miasto section

The project includes railway line No 220 on the Olsztyn – Gutkowo section and railway line No 221 on the section Gutkowo – Dobre Miasto. The total length of the railway lines covered by the Project is 30.29 km. The project was divided into the following implementation tasks: • Task 1 – railway line No 220 on the Olsztyn – Gutkowo section from km 1,466 to km 7,782 (the execution of multi-discipline works related to the reconstruction of the line) and, in addition, the laying of cables on sections from km 0.270 (setting station with OLA) to 1.466 and from km 7,782 to km 8,486 (LCS station in Gutkowo) and the construction of a platform at the Olsztyn Śródmieście stop in km 1,065 with accompanying robots); • Activity 2 – railway line 221 on the section Gutkowo – Good Town from km -0.229 to km 23.750. The works foresee a complete replacement of the track surface, which will allow the maximum speed of passenger trains up to 100 km/h and freight 80 km/h (LK220) and 70 km/h (LK221). The project foresees works on 68 engineering facilities, 15 rail-road crossings. The rail level crossing within the street will be eliminated. Captain and st. Lake and replaced by an underground passage. As regards passenger service facilities, the following stops are to be constructed: Olsztyn Śródmieście, Olsztyn Likusy, Olsztyn Redykajny. All platforms will be equipped with new benches and shelters. There will also be facilities for people with reduced mobility. Olsztyn Likusy was designed on line 220 on Olsztyn Likusy. The srk devices (or new ones built) will be refurbished along with the reconstruction of the teletechnical and telecommunications installations, as well as works in cubicle facilities. In addition, the project is in line with the assumptions of the SzOOP ROP WiM in terms of increasing the accessibility of the railway of Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship. This investment will complement the remaining railway investments in the voivodship, thus building a coherent and complete rail network.
