The project will be implemented in partnership with the following entities: Association of Great Masurian Lakes 2020 (lead partner) and State Water Farm Polish Waters (Partner). In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the objectives of the project, the entities concluded on 21 October 2016 a partnership agreement on the joint implementation of the project. The following projects will be implemented as a result of the project: Reconstruction of the technical facilities of PGW WP in Giżycko; Reconstruction of the technical facilities of the PGW WP in Mikołajki; Deepening of canal outlets and their connections to lakes, removal of glands and stone reefs in five parts: Deepening the outlet of the Niegocin Canal to the Niegocin Lake; Deepening of the exit from the port of PGW WP RZGW in Giżyck City of Giżycko; Deepening the outlet of the Jegliński Canal to Lake Roś; Deepening of the so-called navigable route. “Seksty Gate” – passages from Lake Seksty to Lake Śniardwy; Deepening the sailing route in the area of Lake Szymon- from the Miodun Canal to the Szymony Canal – Ryn Municipality; Deepening the navigable route between Lake Mikołajski and Lake Śniardwy in two locations – the Municipality of Mikołajki;Deepening of the navigable route in the area of Lake Tałtowisko at the connection with the Grunwaldzki Canal’; Repair of the lock and weir in Karwik; Repair of the lock of Guzianka I (the monument); The opening of the Sniardva Canal-Roś and the reconstruction of the weir in the quak; Reconstruction and strengthening of the Hungarian Canal; Insurance of banks and opening of the river Węgorapa;Reconstruction and strengthening of the Beautiful Mountain Canal. The project was included in the list of projects identified by the MA ROP WiM under the non-competition procedure annexed to the SZOOP and is in line with the assumptions set out in the SZOOP and the Rules of Procedure. In addition, the project’s assumptions qualify for support under the action/sub-measure to which it has been submitted.
