The object of the project is the modernisation of 1958 street lighting points in the city of Gliwice. Existing luminaires with high-pressure sodium or mercury light sources will be replaced by energy-efficient luminaires with semiconductor light sources (LEDs). The project will result in a significant reduction in the energy intensity of street lighting in the city. Electricity consumption for street lighting will decrease by 1039.88 MWh per year, contributing to a reduction in CO2 emissions to air by 846.46 t/year. The project is a continuation of the activities undertaken in the project “Eko-Light in Gliwice – Modernisation and construction of street lighting”
