The main objective of the project is to improve the energy efficiency of the buildings in the municipality of Nowa Sól – Miasto. This will be achieved by replacing heat sources from solid fuel to gas heating and connecting the central heating and hot water installations to the gas network in 100 apartments in Nowa Sola. Construction works: — disassembly and disposal of solid fuel furnaces – purchase and installation of a new heating system – purchase, installation, replacement and modernisation of heating system with radiators and/or adaptation of rooms to individual heat source, including installation of a new heating system, – connection to the gas network and execution of an internal heating installation – modernisation/construction of a new exhaust gas system. Target group – residents of Nowa Sola and nearby towns and city authorities fulfilling the obligations of optimising the city’s gosp.energet. and improving the comfort of life in the city. Project products: —number of house with better energy consumption class – 100 pcs. —number of boilers/burners/devices/heating solid fuels listed as a result of the implementation of the programme – 100 pcs. —number of modernised heat sources – 100 pcs. Results: —estimated annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions – 400.80 tonnes of CO2 equivalent – employment growth in supported entities (other than companies) – 0 FTE.
