Expansion of Caritas housing complex with shelter for homeless people with care services

The object of the planned project is the expansion of the Caritas building complex with a shelter for the homeless with care services on land plots no. 24/111 and 24/114 ob. Włocławek KM 88, at ul. Płocka 2 in Włocławek, in order to increase access to social services. The project also plans to equip the hostel in question. The CARITAS building complex on the above-mentioned plots serves as a shelter for the homeless with a storage space. The planned extension is an extension of the scope of assistance services for homeless people, especially those in need of additional care due to their state of health. The target group of the project is homeless people from Włocławek and the region. In view of the increasing number of sick and elderly homeless people and the overcrowding of the current and the only shelters in the region run by CARITAS Diecezia Włocławska, it is necessary to carry out this investment in order not only to increase, but also to enable access to social and care services for all those who require them. in particular, the most important is the lack of sufficient places in the current shelters for socially excluded people due to homelessness, including those in need of care and support. The need for the establishment of this institution is also evidenced by a noticeable upward trend in the number of homeless elderly people with disabilities.
