The aim of the Lubia project is to increase the employability of unemployed people up to the age of 29, from the Krakow District. The project is aimed at 330 unemployed people (including approx. 50 % of women) residents of the Krakow District aged 18-29, registered in the UPPK, of which at least 60 % – 198 people are so-called. NEETs) in accordance with the definition of NEET category adopted in POWER 2014-2020. 25 % of the participants in the project will be 83 people in a difficult situation on the labour market: i.e. persons with disabilities, long-term unemployed or low-skilled. The project provides for the achievement of the rate of 30 % of persons who obtained qualifications or acquired competences after leaving the programme, i.e. 99 persons.Recruitment will be carried out on a continuous basis in all UPPK units by means of applications, applications and surveys submitted by unemployed persons until the planned number of participants is reached. The project assumes that the process of recruiting participants will be completed by 15.06.2021. The project is a response to the challenges of the Europe 2020 Strategy and supports and promotes the employment or self-employment of young residents of the District of Krakow, through planned project activities. The activities set out in the project focus on the development of skills (professional and interpersonal) of participants who make up the qualifications of young people and their acquisition of professional experience. These activities will enable the acquisition of skills or the ability to perform tasks in the workplace, facilitate young people’s entry into the labour market through the planned forms in the project. In addition, the potential of young people to develop entrepreneurship on the local market and in the region will be exploited. The results of the project will be the achievement of employment performance indicators of 44 % for the most vulnerable and at 59.5 % for the other participants in the project.
