The project includes the construction of a boiler room in Ełk based on the production of heat from biomass combustion. As part of the project, a new biomass boiler room will be built with installed water boiler fired with wood chips with a thermal output of 10.0 MW, together with a dry and condensing economiser, fuel storage and feeding system, exhaust gas discharge and ash removal and a complete technological and hydraulic installation. The boiler room will be located in a planned building built into the 3xWLM-2.5 boiler room.
