Reference_Aid_programme: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose_public_aid: Article 25 of Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ Urz. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). The main aim of the project is to design and manufacture a prototype of a prone torsion shaft characterised by a reduction of dynamic forces arising during the start-up of work machinery and a reduction of forces caused by variable operating loads. The design of the susceptible shaft has been tested under laboratory conditions and at this stage its ability to minimise the dynamic forces generated during the start-up and operating phase of the working machinery has been confirmed. A unique feature of this component is the possible twisting angle of individual members up to 90 degrees. Such a high susceptibility of the shaft makes it possible to obtain favorable conditions for starting and operating machines. A characteristic feature of the highly sensitive shaft will be its adaptation to the variability of the typical load for industrial applications. The necessary tasks related to the implementation of the main objectives of the project are the development of the target design of the prototype of the prone shaft, the test of the shaft under fatigue conditions and its verification under operational conditions. On the basis of a state of the art study carried out by the Applicants, it was concluded that the result of the project would be a novelty on a global scale and would ensure a competitive advantage of the consortium company.
