The aim of the VRneck SOLUTION project is to develop a comprehensive and innovative solution, using virtual reality and artificial intelligence methods, to support diagnostics, therapy planning and monitoring of the rehabilitation process of patients with functional disorders within the cervical spine, neck-head and cervical and chest connection due to musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. Virtual reality goggles (VR) and headtrackers (for people with visual impairment) have been used to support research and therapy and software to analyse and use the collected data. In order to expand the primary grid of the range of segmental mobility of the cervical and cervical spine and the set of 8 functional task boards in the group of people with cervical spine pain syndrome (ZBK-C) and without (BZBK-C) and an initial assessment of their suitability for medical purposes, a medical experiment involving 400 people was planned. In the second phase, a clinical trial involving 200 patients was planned to confirm the diagnostic and therapeutic efficacy of VRneck SOLUTION, as well as to assess the safety and usefulness of the treatment planning and to monitor the effectiveness of treatment.
