SA 42799(2015/X) The subject of the project is the implementation of a service by the Scientific Unit, which has scientific categories A+, consisting of the development of a significantly improved device for normal thermal perfusion of organs – primarily for kidney, liver and heart. The device developed will be of small size and weight, allowing the organs to be stored in sterile conditions and when breathing gases are exchanged. Thanks to the use of innovative solutions and own R & D works, which resulted in the creation of the applicant’s know-how key to the project, NanoSanguis S.A. including laboratory-scale technology and a prototype of the perfusion device, thanks to the implementation of the project, it will be possible to develop a device ready to be implemented on the market. The authorities will be kept in conditions as close to physiological as possible: normothermia, transport of oxygen and nutrients and exchange of breathing gases. The need to organise specialised and expensive transport involving multi-person teams and to pay for costly medical procedures in this area will be eliminated. A scientific unit, with scientific category A+, was selected for the implementation of the project subject to a grant for the project. The selection procedure was carried out in accordance with the principle of competitiveness.
