Reference_Aid_programme: SA.41471(2015/X)Disposal_public_aid: Article 25 of Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ Urz. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). Objective of the project: development of innovative technology for cleaning and maintenance of equipment installed in hazardous conditions of methane and/or coal dust – UCT (Underground Cleaning Technology). The cleaning method will be based on a specially developed mixture of dry gases with the addition of solid carbon dioxide. The technology will be innovative on an international scale – it will allow cleaning of components, installations, devices built up in explosive areas without having to be shut down and dismantled and transported to a non-hazardous area. Key research challenge: Ensuring efficient and safe (from the point of view of underground work, the safety of the cleaning plant and the operator) the provision of a cleaning service in conditions where, due to the prevailing atmosphere and, above all, the subsidence of coal dust, there is a risk of explosion. Currently available solutions allow cleaning of mining equipment only on the surface. There are no solutions available to carry out the cleaning process under dusty conditions, in particular installations in continuous motion (e.g. coal feeders). The objective of the project will be achieved by carrying out planned studies involving the development of individual units of the UCT system and integrating them into operational technology. The project has been divided into 4 stages: 2 stages of industrial research, 1 development work and 1 pre-implementation work. Target groups: 1.fossil and coal processing plants 2.producers and service technicians of mining machinery 3. power plants, heating plants, heating plants
